If I boot into kernel 5.10.60-1, my sound does not work properly. UPDATE: After reviewing this, the problem may in fact have started with kernel 5.10.59, and I only noticed it with 5.10.60 due to not using the netbook as often and the small window between updates.Īs it stands now, I must boot into kernel 5.13 in order to have working sound, until a regression is identified and fixed with upstream kernel development (in regards to kernel 5.10).
REALTEK DOESNT RECOGNIZE USB MIC BOOST UPDATE
This was before I knew that the update to kernel 5.10 was the culprit. NOTE: There’s a discrepency of the “real” update’s date/time due to using Timeshift to “revert” and “try again”. Installed kernel 5.13 (via mhwd-kernel GUI), sound works normally again when booting with kernel 5.13.
